Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Winnipeg Dig & Demolition Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work in our fabrication and welding department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to meet industry standards.
  • Operate and maintain manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, as well as perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in welding, with a focus on metal fabrication and structural welding.
  • Equivalent experience or a trades certificate or diploma in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
  • 35-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime.
  • Permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.
  • English language proficiency.
