About the Role

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Membership Sales and Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and processing transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, promoting YMCA programs and services to members and non-members.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of YMCA programs and services, making recommendations to members and guests.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales and service skills.
Requirements
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a sales or service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales and service targets.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
