About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Handle and report lost and found items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, providing excellent customer service.
  • Provide basic information on our facilities and services to visitors and students.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required, including cleaning changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Weight handling up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is a requirement of this role.
  • Personal suitability factors such as punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and values and ethics are essential for this position.
