About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Custodian to join our team at Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our cleaning staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Inspect Sites and Facilities

Inspect our sites and facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Recommend Additional Services

Recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.

Assist Cleaners

Assist our cleaning staff in performing their duties and provide guidance and support as needed.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules for our cleaning staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions.

Work Setting

Experience working in a commercial facility, office building, or similar environment.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and clients.
