  • Develop and implement project plans, including pre-construction planning, tendering, and scope development.
  • Issue subcontracts and purchase orders, and manage on-site construction activities daily.
  • Maintain project financial status through effective cost reporting and tracking, including change management.
  • Assist project superintendents with supervision and coordination of direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Recognize key issues and act in a timely manner to expedite solutions.
  • Represent the organization in a professional, positive manner when in contact with clients and consultants.
  • Plan and maintain project schedules to ensure project schedules are adhered to.
  • Conduct regular project meetings with clients and project personnel.
  • Effectively utilize technology to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Civil or Mechanical engineering background required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working as a project manager in the general contracting or construction management sector.
  • Industrial project management experience is an asset.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Project, project cost control software, and project management software is required.
