About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Sekure Merchants. As a key member of our Marketing team, you will be responsible for analyzing marketing data to inform business decisions and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track vital marketing KPIs, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Intelligence Analyst with in-depth monthly and quarterly reports, detailing marketing performance for upper management and business partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to extract data requirements via database SQL queries, ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Work closely with the IT Business Intelligence team to ensure all major data-related projects are completed optimally, driving business growth.
  • Develop and maintain Google Tag Manager tags and triggers, ensuring all marketing campaigns and website traffic are tracked accurately.
  • Diagnose and alert management to major operational issues, such as adverse changes in sales, data inconsistencies, or data pipeline failures.
  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses, providing key performance indicators to support, advise, and respond to requests from management.
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in analytics, with a strong understanding of data analysis and business intelligence.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and SQL, with experience in PowerBI or similar BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and/or other web analytics and data capture tools.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with a passion for uncovering strategic opportunities and solving business problems.
  • Ability to clearly translate technical subjects to a non-technical audience and vice versa.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-moving, remote work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • Experience with Hubspot or other marketing automation tools.
