Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining distributed data processing solutions and high-loaded database solutions for various business cases, including reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization, and financial reporting. You will lead a team of data engineers in designing and implementing data processing pipelines, ensuring data quality, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of data engineers in designing and implementing data processing pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy in data processing pipelines.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team on data processing and database solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design data processing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-loaded database solutions for various business cases.
  • Investigate and resolve technical challenges in data processing pipelines.
  • Participate in software development implementation work.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on data processing and database solutions.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Technical Lead.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with strong Python and PySpark coding skills.
  • 3+ years of experience working in data migration.
  • 3+ years of experience in ETL orchestration and workflow management tools like Airflow or Oozie.
  • Experience in Spark, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams.
  • 2+ years of confirmed experience leading other specialists.
