Are you a seasoned data engineer looking to take your career to the next level? Do you want to work on complex big-data algorithms, shape processes, and help scale a Series D rocket ship to the next level? Enable International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our vibrant engineering organisation.

About the Role

We process enormous amounts of data in very short time frames, performing billions of calculations per customer and storing it all in Enterprise scale databases. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work collaboratively with other engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and integrations using IPaaS technology. You will also collaborate on the engineering platform ingestion, orchestration, data warehouse/data lake and API strategies for our data management ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and integrations using IPaaS technology
  • Collaborate on the engineering platform ingestion, orchestration, data warehouse/data lake and API strategies for our data management ecosystem
  • Interface with other technology teams to design and implement robust products, services, and capabilities for the data platform
  • Identify and deliver improvements to data engineering at Enable International
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to provide high availability data solutions that scale geographically
Requirements
  • Experience in leading the design and implementation of lambda architectures for scalable and reliable data processing
  • Technical excellence in SQL, NoSQL, Blob, Delta Lake, and other enterprise scale data stores
  • Enterprise scale usage of technology such as Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, DBT, SnapLogic, Spark or similar tools
  • Experience using Python with data (Pandas, PySpark) would be an advantage
  • Other languages such as C# would be beneficial but not essential
