Job Title: Security Guard

Guardteck Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner.
  • Utilize tact and diplomacy when interacting with clients and the public.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide First Aid, CPR, or AED support until medical professionals arrive.
  • Maintain and enforce access control procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and occurrences, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and maintain a high level of situational awareness.
  • De-escalate emergency/crisis situations and assist emergency and law enforcement personnel as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of prior Security experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment both indoors and outdoors.
  • First Aid Level 1 is an asset but not mandatory.
