About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Royal Cumin Catering and Events. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
    • Ensure all dishes, glassware, and flatware are washed and put away in their designated storage areas.
  • Food Preparation
    • Assist in the preparation of simple food items, such as heating and finishing dishes.
    • Portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Restock condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • General Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
