Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Numerical Modelling Specialist to join our team in Waterloo, ON. The ideal candidate will have a background in hydrogeology/hydrology and numerical modelling for mining applications or on a regional scale.
Key Responsibilities:- Project delivery, including reporting, data processing, GIS, hydrostratigraphic interpretation, 3D model construction, numerical model setup, and simulation.
- Develop and implement numerical models for hydrogeology/hydrology applications.
- Interpret regional-scale hydrostratigraphy and provide expert advice.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- BSc/MSc degree in hydrogeology/hydrology, civil and environmental engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., R, Python), GIS, and numerical modelling software (e.g., HydroGeoSphere, FEFLOW, MODFLOW, HecRas).
- Strong project management and report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
