Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Numerical Modelling Specialist to join our team in Waterloo, ON. The ideal candidate will have a background in hydrogeology/hydrology and numerical modelling for mining applications or on a regional scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project delivery, including reporting, data processing, GIS, hydrostratigraphic interpretation, 3D model construction, numerical model setup, and simulation.
  • Develop and implement numerical models for hydrogeology/hydrology applications.
  • Interpret regional-scale hydrostratigraphy and provide expert advice.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • BSc/MSc degree in hydrogeology/hydrology, civil and environmental engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., R, Python), GIS, and numerical modelling software (e.g., HydroGeoSphere, FEFLOW, MODFLOW, HecRas).
  • Strong project management and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
