As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plant equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Complete and maintain station records, logs, and reports
* Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction
* Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
* Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs
* Issue work and test permits to electrical and mechanical maintenance personnel
* Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities
* Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and to ensure plant systems are operating normally
* Operate automated or computerized control systems
* Perform routine equipment maintenance
* Regulate water levels
* Start up and shut down power plant equipment

Requirements:

* Stationary Engineer 3rd Class certification
* Experience with compressors, condensers, distributed control systems (DCS), heat exchangers, high-pressure boilers, pumps, turbines, valves, and water and waste treatment utilities
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with standing for extended periods
* Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
