About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Wylds KM Services. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers and ensure that all staff members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive grounds maintenance plans to ensure that our properties are well-manicured and visually appealing.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site assessments to determine the necessary resources required for each project, including labour and materials.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other hardscaping features to ensure that they are built to the highest standards.
  • Plan, Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure that all landscape construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of all work performed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues that may arise.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.
  • Weed, Prune and Trim Trees and Plants: Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep our properties looking their best.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs and Trees: Plant and maintain a variety of plants and flowers to ensure that our properties are visually appealing.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the transportation and application of topsoil and other materials as needed.
