Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect tires on-site to determine safe repair options
  • Complete preventative and corrective repairs, including skiving, patching, filling, and final inspection
  • Set-up, take-down, and monitor the tire vulcanizing machine, ensuring correct cure times
  • Drive the Fountain Tire mobile tire repair truck to and from the mine sites
  • Ensure inventory is stocked and tooling is in safe working order
  • Participate in safety initiatives to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire
Requirements
  • Employment contingent on successful pre-access drug test
  • Experience in OTR tire repair and vulcanization
  • Ability to lift 25+ kilograms
  • Ability to drive and fly into remote locations on a scheduled shift and work in any weather condition
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
  • Ability to maintain a valid class 5 driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract
