Job Title: Secondary School Teacher's Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Secondary School Teacher's Assistant at Marjolaine Dion C.O. et RH. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups with assignments, reinforcing learning concepts under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the school principal, including assisting with classroom inventory and monitoring student progress.
  • Assist the teacher in operating projectors, tape recorders, and other audio-visual or electronic equipment.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
Work Environment:

This is a part-time position, with 12 to 15 hours per week. The work setting is a private school, and the language of work is French.
