Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Forklift Operator for our Abbotsford location.

This is a Monday to Friday position from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to accept, count, and unload material from inbound trailers.
  • Load outbound material from staging areas or trailers to outbound trailers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for shipping and receiving.
  • Load materials into/onto trailers using proper load securement principles.
  • Actively promote health and safety through participation in our 1Health and Safety Program.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Valid British Columbia Driver's License
  • Experience in warehouse receiving or materials management
  • Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Forklift experience with gas, diesel, and electric-powered forklifts up to 30,000 lbs
  • Background in trucking or oil companies
  • Rigging experience an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and cross-train within the department
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
