About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Tristar Transportation Ltd. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Operations: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products, including industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts.
  • Material Handling: Sort, crate, and stack goods, ensuring they are properly secured and stored.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Familiarity with dollies and hand trucks, pallet lifters, and other material handling equipment.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, including criminal record checks and drug tests.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Provide your own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
