We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to join our team at Antonina Salvo. As a Family Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring client safety.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Housekeeping and Meal Preparation: Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning, and prepare nutritious meals that cater to clients' dietary needs.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical mobility and overall health.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, with a focus on caregiving and support work.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate clients' needs and schedules.
