Job Title: Family Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to join our team at LiGu - Private household. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and assist with personal care, including bathing and hygiene
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide emotional support
  • Perform tasks such as laundry and linen management
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in an urban area and in the employer's/client's home
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a client-focused approach
Work Setting:

Our Family Caregivers work in a variety of settings, including urban areas and in the homes of our clients.

Language:

English or French

Hours:

32 to 40 hours per week

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

We offer support for social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including language training, skills training, and access to community resources.

Support for Youths:

We offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
