About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Services Manager to join our team at Kent Legal. As a key member of our corporate services team, you will be responsible for leading recruitment, performance reviews, and team meetings.

You will oversee workload allocation and identify upcoming client events, manage and implement strategic initiatives, and monitor legislative changes to ensure compliance with Business Law guidelines.

As a seasoned professional, you will assess and improve department practices and processes, collaborate with other legal professionals to address support needs, and provide expert guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our corporate services department.

Requirements
  • Law clerk diploma or equivalent
  • Member in good standing with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and IPMA
  • 10+ years of paraprofessional experience in Corporate Services, with supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in technology (e.g., Closing Folders, Ministry portals, iManage, MinuteBox)
  • Extensive knowledge of the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) and the Canada Business Corporations Act
