Luminary Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Carpenter, Framing to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to create structural components.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet project specifications.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless finish.
- Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
- 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Proficiency in using safety equipment and gear, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
