Role Overview

Culinary Service Associate - Temporary Full-Time Position

The Culinary Service Associate is responsible for meal delivery, portioning and serving desserts, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware. This role involves general and specialized cleaning in accordance with health regulations and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of, or current enrollment in, a recognized Food Service Worker Program or equivalent experience in institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality food service.
  • Valid Food Handler Safety Certificate.
  • Previous experience in the food services sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Temporary full-time position with potential for extension.
  • Requires considerable standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
  • Exposure to noise, high temperatures, and moisture in dishwashing and pot washing areas.
