Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Supervisor to join our team at Forvan Technology Services. As a Technical Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring that their computer systems and networks are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support to resolve issues with computer systems and networks.
  • Supervise Technical Support Team: Supervise and manage a team of technical support analysts to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that technical support is aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Technology: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements to ensure that technical support is provided in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage Incidents: Manage incidents and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide Business Systems Support: Provide business systems support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set Up Equipment: Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Perform Web-Server Backup and Recovery Operations: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide customer service to users in response to identified difficulties.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in technical support, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software, with experience in ITIL and mainframe technologies.
Work Environment

As a Technical Support Supervisor at Forvan Technology Services, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads, with the ability to distinguish between colors and sit for extended periods.
