Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director, Transportation Operations to join our team at Canwest Cranes Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 people to ensure the successful execution of transportation operations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage a budget of $1,500,001 - $4,000,000 to ensure financial stability and growth.
    • Develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Operational Planning
    • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transportation operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Word and information technology.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. They will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
