Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Sootay Smoke and Convenience Store. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display of products
  • Assist with customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
