Overview of the Role

As a Vending Equipment Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport, install, relocate, and exchange refrigeration units and vending machines at various client locations and distribution points.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport, swap, and reposition vending machines and coolers.
  • Complete daily safety inspections and vehicle reports.
  • Load and unload vending equipment for delivery or return.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and supervisors regarding the status of deliveries and pickups.
  • Set up coolers, including adjusting shelves, temperature settings, and ensuring proper refrigeration functionality.
  • Provide training to clients on the operation of equipment.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Previous experience in equipment relocation is advantageous.
  • Experience with vending machine repair and distribution is a plus.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting regularly.
  • Proven mechanical and technical skills.
  • Valid CDL is required, with Class A preferred, along with current vehicle liability insurance and a driving record that meets MVR policy standards.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination and/or possess a valid DOT Medical Card.
