Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assistance to individuals with ASD, ensuring that their daily needs are met in a manner that promotes dignity and respect.
  • Collaborate with families and community resources to facilitate effective support strategies.
  • Implement person-centered planning to help individuals achieve their personal goals.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive records of individual progress and incidents in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Administer medication and monitor its effects, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Human or Social Services or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly in community settings.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of supporting individuals within their family and community contexts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families and community agencies.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
