Position Overview:
The role of Maintenance Technician, under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, focuses on the inspection, installation, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems within the facility. Key responsibilities include servicing pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, alongside maintaining detailed records of all work conducted. The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright and have a background in a heavy manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, installations, repairs, and replacements of mechanical systems.
- Service and maintain pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright) is required.
- Preferred experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of Bearings, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Lubrication, and Rotating Equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Basic proficiency in computer usage.
