Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Gerdau S.A. as a Millwright Mechanic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, machinery, and processes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, inspect, adjust, clean, and lubricate equipment as needed.
  • Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts and aerial work platforms.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and contractors to perform repairs and installations.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright – A) as recognized by Skilled Trades Ontario.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
