About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Instructor to join our team at Bay River College. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the academic success of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, discussions, and presentations to students in a variety of subjects, including Education and Academic Support.
  • Course Planning and Development: Create and implement comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, to ensure student learning outcomes are met.
  • Student Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
  • Student Support and Guidance: Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including academic advising, mentorship, and referrals to campus resources.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in teaching and learning, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Education or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in teaching, education, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Language: English is the primary language of instruction, and proficiency in English is required.
