Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

This is a hybrid (on-site 3 days/week) role based in Montreal, where you'll work closely with our global QA team to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions for our clients. As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing automated testing frameworks using Java and other technologies
  • Collaborating with developers, business stakeholders, and other QA teams to drive QA agenda and standards
  • Communicating key issues and progress updates in a regular, accurate, and timely fashion
  • Working closely with technical leaders to develop the best technical design and approach for testing our functionality at scale
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience working on QA automation using Java
  • Experience in developing test automation for Web applications using Cypress, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and Java
  • Experience in developing test automation within Agile projects
  • Good knowledge of testing concepts, database concepts, OOPs concepts, and strong core Java skills
  • Strong working knowledge of various test types, including client/server, white-box, black-box, positive/negative, and relational database testing
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with a strong passion for automation and a willingness to learn new technologies. If you have experience with Protractor, Typescript, or Python, that's a plus
