We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Services Supervisor at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide retail services to CAF members and their families, including cash handling, customer service, and sales support.
- Deal with customer concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and authorize refunds, voids, and returns.
- Supervise employees and hold keys, safe combinations, and access codes, and open and close the store as required.
- Operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float.
- Take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.
- Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in cash handling, personnel administration, visual merchandising, and food and beverage preparation and service.
- Food Handling Certification, as required.
- Experience in customer service, sales, and retail operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
English is essential, and bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
