Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with site physician partners to set clinical direction and champion quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage all financial, human, and physical resources of the facility, overseeing key performance indicators and resolving operational issues.
- Serve as the first point of contact for Community Boards and engage with local community leaders and officials.
- Support local Foundation Boards and promote public relations and community development through involvement in community functions and planning.
- Build effective labour relations and foster professional working relationships with union representatives.
- Undergraduate degree in a healthcare discipline or business/administration.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive healthcare management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in operational planning and leadership, with a strong track record of success in a multi-union environment.
- Experience in the rural and continuing care sector, with a focus on financial accountability and strategic planning.
