Job Title: Drywall Installation Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Supervisor to join our team at 1408743 B.C. LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of drywall in various construction projects. This includes supervising a team of drywall installers and finishers, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of drywall installers and finishers
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and meets company quality standards
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Train or arrange for training of apprentices
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Set up machines and equipment
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Recommend personnel actions
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Steel-toed safety boots
