Drywall Installation Supervisor Job Description

NBS STEEL FRAMING & DRYWALL LTD. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling activities, overseeing apprenticeship training, and ensuring the successful completion of drywall installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of drywall installation projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and provide guidance to junior team members
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure efficient installation processes
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the team is working effectively
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure project completion
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
