Senior Tax Manager or Principal Opportunity

Baker Tilly SNT is a leading CPA firm in Northern Ontario, with a strong presence in Sudbury, Timmins, and North Bay. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager or Principal to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with partners, managers, and senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.
  • Deliver high-quality tax planning, services, and advice to clients.
  • Provide support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff on tax knowledge and tax matters.
  • Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
  • Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program.
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
  • Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
