Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
  • Be responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks
  • Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
  • Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
  • Candidate must be able to provide government IDs or documents to prove status, such as birth certificate, passport, valid Ontario driver's license, or utility bills showing current address
  • Candidate must be able to pass RCMP fingerprint background check
  • Candidate must have good command of English
  • Candidate must be able to provide personal references and professional references for the past 5 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma/GED preferred
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified preferred
  • Experience with automated pick and pack systems
  • Familiarization with automated warehouse management system is an asset (PKMS)
  • Experience with an RF scanner
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to Lift and/or push/pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Be a team player and work within a diverse work environment
  • Can Work by using health and safety methods
  • Punctuality and good attendance record
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
