Intervention & Outreach Team Coordinator

Program Overview:

The Intervention & Outreach Team (IOT) is a clinical program within the Pan Am Clinic, dedicated to providing direct supervisory support to the IOT team and contributing to the research and development of evidence-based models. This position will also involve direct clinical support of the IOT youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervisory support to the IOT team, including coaching and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based models, including research and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure alignment with the clinic's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote the clinic's reputation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including The Child and Family Services Act, The Mental Health Act, and Young Offenders Act.
  • Develop and implement risk and clinical assessment tools to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Provide training and education to staff on evidence-based models and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in a related field (Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or other related disciplines).
  • Certified Canadian High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator, Coach, and Trainer.
  • Experience supervising and/or coaching others in evidence-based models.
  • Supportive of research and evaluation and experience with resilience research.
  • Certified in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and EMDR.
  • Minimum two years of experience working with children and youth with complex needs.
  • Minimum two years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of child welfare, child and family services, justice, and education systems.
  • Demonstrated competence in risk and clinical assessment.
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources for youth.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to issues of cultural diversity and colonialism.
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Records Check required.
  • Employment contingent on security clearance from correctional facilities.

Salary and Benefits:

$47.735 per hour, with benefits as per MAHCP contract.
