What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking a talented, creative, and results-driven professional who thrives on delivering high-performing applications. As a Data Governance Lead, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the Enterprise to drive data governance initiatives and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to foster a collaborative environment and drive data governance initiatives forward.
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to address data governance challenges.
  • Contribute to multiple data governance projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Efficiently allocate resources to maximize the impact of data governance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced programming skills in Python, with experience in data manipulation, automation, and analytics.
  • Shell Scripting skills for automating administrative tasks and data processes.
  • Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, with advanced SQL proficiency.
  • Prior experience with data lineage and governance platforms, such as Apache Atlas, Informatica, Collibra, Talend, Alation, and other tools.
  • Expertise in ETL tools, such as Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SSIS, and Apache NiFi.
  • Data Integration Design skills to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Hadoop/Spark expertise for big data technologies.
  • Managing Metadata Repositories experience.
  • Implementing Standards familiarity to maintain data quality and governance.
