We are seeking a skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patients' needs
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations initiatives
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues
- Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy
- Provide ongoing training for new and existing Pharmacy colleagues
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license
- Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills
- Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
- Strong personal computing skills, with knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems an asset
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $60.00-$60.00, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
