Pharmacist Professional

As a Pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, you will be responsible for managing pharmacy operations, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and maintaining dispensary while ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, acknowledging all customers approaching the pharmacy and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Practice within federal and provincial regulations, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed, and maintaining all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy.
- Offer counselling on prescriptions, over-the-counter and behind-the-counter products, and communicate with healthcare professionals to provide customer care.
- Control access to the dispensary, review workflow queues, and oversee current stock levels and medication orders to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met, and file incident reports when necessary.
- Independent thinking and decision making, with the ability to make decisions when dealing with issues or problems.
- Proven ability to drive and build the business, lead by example, and support enterprise programs.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and superior customer relations skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
- Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed to provide a healthy and safe work environment.
