Job Summary

Chandi Electrical and Automation Ltd is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver - Route Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics and Administration: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, prepare and package goods for delivery, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Payment and Invoicing: Accept payment or invoices for items delivered, and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, on foot, and in remote locations, with the ability to relocate as needed.
  • Work Setting: Work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, disability benefits, and permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
