Job Title: Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver

Dhillon & Dhillon Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination unit to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service skills
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and in accordance with regulations
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours of driving
