Job Summary
As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for performing material movement duties in the warehouse, including physical receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the carousel system to pick orders and re-stock, ensuring accurate product, lot numbers, and quantities, and updating SAP and Nova.
- Pack shipments using SAP, verifying correct product, lot numbers, and quantities, and checking for proper order and shipping labels.
- Pick orders from overstock and ensure correct lot numbers and quantities using the RF unit.
- Ship orders using a computerized freight management system.
- Move materials to optimize warehouse space.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Physically receive materials and verify accuracy of shipments, checking for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
- Notify Inventory Analyst of any inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Documents (SODs), and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).
- Adhere to internal and external regulations, including those of the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI) and the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
- Maintain commitment to corporate mission statement and initiatives.
- Participate in internal and external audits, as necessary.
- Work as a team member to achieve outcomes.
- Perform all work in support of corporate values, including Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Fluent English written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of material handling equipment is an asset.
- Basic computer operations knowledge.
- Willingness to work various shifts and/or overtime when needed.
- No fear of heights.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a logistics environment, with pharmaceutical experience an asset.
