About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Director, Advancement to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our Advancement team, you will play a critical role in leading and implementing strategic fundraising initiatives to support the university's academic mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and provide strategic direction in all aspects of fundraising, alumni relations, and advancement communications for New College.
  • Identify and cultivate donors at levels above $50,000 and provide leadership in the development and implementation of major gift fundraising programs.
  • Develop, plan, and conduct major gift, annual, and leadership campaigns to obtain donations for New College's fundraising priorities.
  • Assist the Principal in developing initiatives to enhance financial support of New College.
  • Direct the process of engaging New College alumni and friends in the life of the college through special events, volunteerism, and alumni programs.
Requirements
  • A University degree, or an equivalent combination of education and advancement experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with direct fundraising experience and a proven track record of executive advancement responsibility and leadership in annual, major, and planned giving programs.
  • Experience in organizing complex programs and events, managing a team, and directing the work of others.
  • Demonstrated volunteer management experience, strong client service orientation, and experience fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $87,384 - $201,658, a hybrid work arrangement, and a dynamic work environment that values collaboration and teamwork.

This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, pursuant to University policies and guidelines.
