Raisebore/Driller 1

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Raisebore/Driller 1 to join our team at McArthur River, the world's largest high-grade uranium mine. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and safety of raisebore/longhole personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate raisebore/longhole drills and associated equipment
- Coordinate the movement, setup, teardown, and placement of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment
- Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience as a raisebore/longhole operator in a mining environment
- Minimum of five years underground work experience
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan Blasting certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in longhole drilling and blasting
- Mine Rescue experience
- Ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer)
Working Conditions
- Rotating day shift/night shift schedule
- Pre-employment substance test
