Raisebore/Driller 1

Cameco Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Raisebore/Driller 1 to join our team at the McArthur River operation in northern Saskatchewan. As a key member of our underground drilling team, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and safety of raisebore/longhole personnel at second and third levels of progression.
Key Responsibilities- Operate raisebore/longhole drills and associated equipment
- Coordinate the movement, setup, teardown, and placement of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment
- Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience as a raisebore/longhole operator in a mining environment
- Minimum of five years underground work experience
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Rotating day shift/night shift schedule
- Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan Blasting certificate
- Experience in longhole drilling and blasting
- Mine Rescue experience
- Ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer)
