Job Title: Part-Time Cage

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Cage to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a key member of our gaming and entertainment company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash and voucher transactions, and maintaining a float in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and internal customers
  • Manage cash and voucher transactions, including handling large volumes of cash and foreign currency
  • Maintain a float and balance transactions between vault and colleague cash desks
  • Work under Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Secondary school diploma
  • One or more years of experience in customer service and handling cash (preferably large volumes)
  • Strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency, and other settlement types
  • Working knowledge of computer software and ability to learn new software and systems
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work in a physically demanding area
  • Ability to obtain registration as a category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)
Work Environment:
  • Regular casino and cage environment, bending, twisting, gripping, standing, walking, or sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours
