Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Aide to join our team at Stella Chokron. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Perform errands and shopping for clients.
  • Administer medication and provide first aid when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Urban area.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check.
  • Confidential security clearance.
  • Basic security clearance.
Physical Demands:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Handling heavy loads.
