How You Will Create Impact
- Drive sales, service, and profitable growth across personal and specialty lines of insurance products.
- Provide expert advice and recommend coverages and policies that align with client needs.
- Actively engage in prospecting for all lines of business by identifying and suggesting additional products/services that benefit clients.
- Conduct thorough front-line risk assessments and selections in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
- Perform inspections and re-inspections as necessary.
- Meet individual objectives for client service, sales, quality, and productivity while contributing to overall agency sales and growth targets.
- Address client inquiries and concerns, resolve complaints, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Proactively conduct client reviews on auto, home, farm, and/or commercial portfolios.
- Maintain focus and optimism in pursuing goals, effectively managing time to achieve client satisfaction.
- Utilize insights about client needs and situations to identify sales opportunities, demonstrating strong communication skills to convey messages clearly.
- Commit to continuous improvement and fostering productive client relationships to exceed expectations.
- Exhibit effective teamwork and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
- A valid General Insurance license is required.
- A Life license is considered an asset.
- Compliance with all provincial licensing requirements and continuing education is necessary to obtain and maintain licenses.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, including sales experience, is preferred.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of auto and property insurance products along with strong underwriting skills.
- Frequent travel is expected.
- A valid driver's license and insurance are required.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check for successful candidates.
